The 2024 Hyundai Tucson Plug-in Hybrid at Mooney's Hyundai is a full-fledged design revolution, not only an evolution of its predecessor. It also has an all-electric mode at the touch of a button and can be plugged into recharge, making it a leader in radical design.
The TUCSON Plug-in Hybrid, which has both a gasoline engine and an electric motor, produces 265 PS of combined power and can switch to all-electric mode at the touch of a button. When the charge in the 13.8 kWh battery runs out, it seamlessly turns back to the petrol engine, allowing you to travel as far as you need to – and then plug in to recharge the battery when you arrive.

Flexibility + electric range.
A plug-in electric vehicle is an ideal compromise: it has enough electric range for most regular trips while still having the power of a gasoline engine for longer trips.
In EV mode, there are no tailpipe emissions.
At the touch of a button, go electric. When the battery in the all-electric mode is drained, the vehicle will automatically switch to hybrid mode.
A litre of gasoline will get you further.
In hybrid mode, the battery-powered electric motor operates in combination with the gasoline engine to provide incredible fuel economy and pollution reduction.
Performance
The plug-in hybrid system from Hyundai Tucson at Mooney's Garage provides optimum fuel efficiency as well as some serious driving thrills. It is powered by a 13.8 kWh lithium-polymer battery and features a 1.6-litre T-GDi Smartstream engine coupled with a 66.9 kW electric motor. The gasoline engine and electric motor work together to produce 265 PS of maximum power and 304 Nm of maximum torque.
The motor is driven by electricity.
The powerful 66.9 kW electric motor produces 304 Nm of torque, giving the Plug-in Hybrid a sporty electric edge in acceleration and efficiency.
It's a battery.
The regenerative braking device generates energy, which is stored in the 13.8 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery and used to power the electric motor.
The engine is fueled by gasoline.
Hyundai's Continuously Variable Valve Duration technology is used in the 1.6 litre T-GDi engine, which improves engine output and fuel consumption.

That's why we've included Multi-Air Mode technology in the Hyundai Tucson. It diffuses the air through indirect and direct air vents, making the air blow more softly while maintaining the same overall wind volume.
Intelligent power tailgate.
Loading is easy. When the proximity of the smart key is sensed for 3 seconds, the tailgate opens automatically, which is particularly useful when you have both hands full coming out of the store. Furthermore, you have the option of changing the lift height to fit your needs.

The rear seat can be folded in a variety of ways.
The rear seats can now be folded in a 40:20:40 ratio for increased comfort and flexibility. Furthermore, remote folding levers on the boot's side walls allow you to fold the seats from afar.
The battery placement is clever.
The Hyundai Tucson Plug-in Hybrid has plenty of interior space and legroom thanks to the clever positioning of the high voltage battery on the underbody. Legroom for rear passengers is 955mm.
The Hyundai Tucson Plug-in Hybrid provides even more peace of mind with best-in-class advanced driver-assistance systems and an active safety kit with a variety of groundbreaking features. It comes with a seven-airbag system that includes a first-row centre side airbag, which is a first in this category. It reduces the chance of front-row passengers colliding with one another by preventing collisions.
Lane Following Assist (LFA).
Lane Following Assist is standard on the Hyundai Tucson Plug-in Hybrid (LFA). When turned on, it holds the car in its lane at speeds ranging from 0 to 180 km/h on highways and city streets.
High Beam Assist (HBA).*
Detects oncoming traffic and vehicles in the same lane and moves to low beam automatically. When no more cars are found, the high beams are reactivated, increasing the field of vision.

The presence of seven airbags adds to the vehicle's overall protection.
A seven-airbag system is included, including a first-row centre side airbag, which is unique in this category.
