The Hyundai Santa Fe has been manufactured by Hyundai, a South Korean producer, since 2000. It is named after the town of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and was launched as the first SUV by Hyundai. Since then, the SUV has been a hit with consumers. The Santa Fe was a landmark in the company's turnaround program of the late 1990s. The Santa Fe rapidly became the best seller vehicle for Hyundai and led to the success of Hyundai brand in the years to follow.
The 2000-2006 first-generation.
The 1st generation featured a solid, yet sophisticated look and was considerably longer and wider than many of its rivals, highlighting its off-road driving practicality.
More strength, more room, and an upgraded safety system were featured in the 2nd generation, while offering dramatically improved handling for a variety of driving and weather conditions.
