13 Years of Sponsoring Shamrock Rovers FC

13 years on and the partnership is still going strong. Mooney's Garage is delighted to be announcing the continued support to Shamrock Rovers FC in 2021.

Shamrock Rovers was found in 1899 or 1901 in Ringsend, the name was taken from Shamrock Avenue where the team held meetings. The jersey at the time was a striped jersey. Success came in 1904/05 when the team won the County Dublin League and the Leinster Junior Cup.

Shamrock Rovers has seen a lot of changes since then and are now regarded as one of the best teams in the league of Ireland. With a record 18 League of Ireland titles, including four in a row from 1984-1987, and a record 25 FAI Cups

The team from Mooney's Garage dropped the new fleet off to Shamrock Rovers this week, of course adhering to social distancing. The fleet includes the All-New Hyundai Tucson Hybrid & the Hyundai KONA EV. The team previously had the Hyundai Tucson and Hyundai KONA in petrol, making this range the most environmentally friendly.
