Mooney's is an Irish-owned and family-run business dedicated to new and used car sales. The Mooney family has been selling cars on the Long Mile Road in Dublin since 1973. We are Ireland's leading Hyundai dealer for sales, service, and parts.
Key Responsibilities:
●Experience in Diagnose, repairing, and service vehicle according to manufacturer guidelines
●Franchise experience desirable.
●Must have electric vehicle experience and certified.
●Perform work as outlined on the job card to the highest level according to the manufacturer’s standard.
●Have a full understanding of the latest technologies introduced and how to diagnose and repair faults.
●Communicate with other departments on tasks including parts department and service advisors for the smooth running of the service department.
●Undertake repairs after customer sign-off
●Carrying out vehicle health checks and identifying areas of concern.
●Road testing vehicle after work is completed to check work performed.
●Keeping up to date with new technical information and training according to Manufacturer.
●Maintaining a clean work environment
●Completion of all relevant documentation in line with warranty and dealership requirements
Skills & Qualifications
●Qualified technician
●Proven experience as an Automotive Diagnostic Technician, with expertise in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and technology. Solid understanding of automotive systems and components. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Relevant certification or vocational training in automotive diagnostics or a related field.
●Ability to complete all tasks independently
●Work independently in a busy environment managing own time and workflow effectivity and efficiently.
●Previous Hyundai experience an advantage
●Good communication skills to inform workshop controller and service advisors of necessary work.
●HV Certified is an advantage
